Here’s what’s inside:
Discover what’s going on ‘under the sea’ with a poster and make an interactive underwater picture, play shark trumps to discover which species is the most fearsome. Go shopping for sustainable fish and follow our simple recipe for yummy fish tacos and be sure to use the I Spy card next time your vising the coast for a spot of rockpooling. Our eco hero card features ocean hero and defender, Ellen MacArthur. You’ll also find a postcard to start an ocean clean up campaign, a quiz to test your ocean knowledge, a pledge card and 20 unbelievable ocean facts. There’s 2 activity cards packed with eight fun puzzles so you can start becoming a ocean expert immediately!
Activities include crafting an ocean creatures mobile, experimenting to understand more about what’s happening to the coral reefs, making recycled plastic games and embarking on our own mini ocean clean up.
There’s also a little something for grown-ups inside to help you understand what’s happening to our oceans and a useful glossary.
Bonus online content: Once your little eco hero has completed the activities, they can download a certificate to show their friends that they are a real OCEANS expert! (QR code included in box)
